In 'Heatseeker' and 'Heatseeker (orange'), Georgia Clemson uses photography to communicate that which is usually unseen; the emotional world. Negative spaces and shapes taken from nature and the body are abstracted into light to form the glowing perimeter of a mysterious zone. 'Forcefield' deals with the protective boundary in a more literal sense, using the symbols of a nurturing pair of hands forming a circle. Each of these works has been hand-printed in the darkroom using camera-less techniques. They were presented at London Art Fair 2022. A small version of Forcefield was also included in the ‘Art for Ukraine’ fundraiser.
